Whether you have vended with us in the past or are brand new to the Hip Donelson Farmers Market, we've got some BIG changes in the 2018 season that we are very excited to share with you!

Our 2018 Market Season will find us at our new location on the beautiful grounds of the Two Rivers Mansion.

Located at 3130 McGavock Pike, the 14-acre setting is part of the larger, 374-acre Two Rivers Park.  Boasting a water park, golf course, picnic shelters, greenways, skate park, disc golf course, and dog park; Two Rivers Park has the most recreational activities of any park in Nashville.

Two Rivers Park and Mansion are accessible from Briley Parkway, McGavock Pike, and even Shelby Bottoms in East Nashville, via the greenway and pedestrian bridge!

With so many activities in proximity to the Mansion, adding the entertainment, special function, and a great variety of vendors, is sure to transform the Market into a Friday evening event that will bring people from within the community and beyond!

 

 

 

With renewed energy, our Market's management and social media team have developed a marketing calendar for the 2018 season.  Our daily entries on various social media channels allow us to reach a broad audience of market customers to keep them engaged and informed about the market.  Our customer reach is growing everyday and we'd love to help you promote your brand as part of the market!

If you are a vendor that sells SNAP (Food Stamps) eligible items, 

  • Foods for the household to eat, such as:  

  • breads and cereals;  

  • fruits and vegetables;  

  • meats, fish and poultry; and   

  • dairy products.

  • Seeds and plants which produce food for the household to eat.

Our SNAP Back program, which matches up to $20 every week for SNAP recipients, for fresh fruits and vegetables, could also allow you to double your sales dollars!  

This is a program that we are advertising heavily in our schools and churches, for families in need to have access to healthy, local foods.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Hip Donelson Farmers Market is part of a larger non-profit group, Hip Donelson and is 100% volunteer powered!  This allows us to give back to our community with the money raised from running the Market.

We support our vendors and their small farms and businesses and in return you are supporting our community.  It's a win-win for everyone!

Initially, our new location will hold up to 60 vendors and room for 2-3 food trucks per market.  Located on the grass, with partial shade and sidewalks for better customer accessibility.  If demand ever called for more vendors, we have 13 more acres to work with!

We also have on-site customer parking, that has accommodated up to 3000 guests at past events.

Our stage (did I mention that we offer free, live music every week?) is located within the Market, but situated so that the sound carries away from the main market area.  This will allow for both vendors and customers to enjoy music at a low level while shopping or in front of the stage while enjoying a picnic dinner from our visiting food trucks.

We are currently working to bring wine/beer/liquor by the drink back to the market, as well as local wine sales, by the bottle.

Additionally, we will be adding a dedicated Kids' Area, with weekly sponsored activities for parent-supervised children!
